Stuart Chaussée
Since 1986 Registered Investment Advisor Stuart Chaussée has specialized in advising affluent individuals and business owners. Mr. Chaussée works independently as a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor. He has 20+ years experience as an investment advisor and portfolio manager.

Stuart Chaussée holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s degree from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management. He began his career in 1986 with Prudential-Bache Securities in Brussels, Belgium. He later worked for Merrill Lynch in Luxemburg and Belgium. He has worked independently since 1987.

In addition to managing money, Stuart Chaussée is the author of three investment books. His most recent book, Advanced Portfolio Management: Strategies for the Affluent, was noted in a Barron's article titled "The Best Investment Books." Barron's staff said "Advanced Portfolio Management is aimed mainly at seasoned investors, though it describes complicated issues clearly and simply and gives advice that might be useful to both pros and amateurs."

Mr. Chaussée is a former Vice Chairman of the Palos Verdes Art Center Endowment Fund. He is also a former contributing writer for the award-winning financial Web site TheStreet.com. TheStreet.com was co-founded by James Cramer, the host of CNBC's Mad Money program. Mr. Chaussée is presently a contributing writer for Peninsula People.
 
Portfolio management services are typically available for accounts beginning at $500,000. (Exceptions will be made for special situations.) Portfolios of this size and above are typically comprised of individual securities (dividend-paying stocks and bonds). In addition, some larger portfolios will also hold exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
 
We also offer investment management services for investors beginning at $250,000. These portfolios may be comprised entirely of exchange-traded funds rather than individual securities. Or, they may hold a combination of exchange-traded funds and individual securities, depending on the preference of the client.
 
The primary market for Stuart Chaussée’s services is investors with portfolios valued between $500,000 and $10 million.
